Mobilisation is at the highest level in the circumstances that we know, and high vigilance within the framework of the electoral process and even after. I reiterate all the commitments with regard to the gendarmes and the military and the police, the safety of our fellow citizens and police officers who are exercising their profession for the security of the country and this goes to the same of the military policemen and gendarmes, Citizens that they know that they will be protected and assured, but the basic principle is trust, solidarity and support for the nation. This is my very sad message about this policeman dying by serving his party and the other wounded and fighting terrorism here and abroad. ” President Francois Hollande
