Gabriel Jesus will travel with Manchester City ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal
Gabriel Jesus is in contention to make his Manchester City return for Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal after two months out, Pep Guardiola has confirmed.
The Brazilian has not played since a sensational start to his City career was cut short by a metatarsal injury suffered against Bournemouth on February 13.
But Guardiola, speaking to the press on Friday, did not rule out starting Jesus at Wembley.
“He’s much, much better,” the City boss said. “Today he made part of the training with us. He’s coming back with his happiness and we are so happy he is back again.
“All the squad are going to travel as a group to Wembley so he will be part of that. After that we are going to see [if he makes the squad].”
