Harry Kane was prolific for Tottenham during September
Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane has been named Premier League Player of the Month for September.
Kane scored six times in four top-flight matches for Spurs during the month, with two goals coming in each of the away victories at Everton, West Ham and Huddersfield.
The 24-year-old was not just prolific in the Premier League, however, with goals for England in World Cup Qualifying and Tottenham in the European Cup taking his overall tally for September to 13 in eight matches.
Kane will hope to add to his tally when Mauricio Pochettino’s side face Bournemouth at Wembley on Saturday.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been named Premier League Manager of the Month after he guided the club to four wins from four in the month, where they scored 17 goals without conceding any in the process.
