Earlier, journalists asked the leader of the Americans how he assesses the parliamentary elections in Germany. The President replied that he had not yet seen the results. When he was told that the Social Democrats retain the advantage, the head of the White House was surprised.

Elections to the German Bundestag were held on September 26. The CEC of Germany earlier said that the Social Democratic Party (SPD) won, which gained 25.7% of the vote. In second place are the Christian Democratic and Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU) bloc, which was supported by 24.1% of voters. According to German media, this is the worst result in federal elections in the history of the conservative bloc.
The Greens have 14.8%, the Free Democratic Party (FDP) – 11.5%, the Alternatives for Germany – 10.3%. 4.9% of voters voted for the Left party. It passes the parliament thanks to direct mandates in two electoral districts in Berlin and one in Leipzig.
