According to the publication Axios, Judge Linda Parker appealed to the disciplinary body with a request to consider this issue.
District judge of the state of Michigan Linda Parker appealed to the disciplinary body with a request to consider the need to revoke the licenses of lawyers of former U.S. President Donald Trump who tried to challenge the election. This was reported on Wednesday by the Axios information portal with reference to court documents.
According to the publication, such a decision may affect the former lawyer of the Trump campaign headquarters, Sidney Powell, and other lawyers from among his supporters, including Lin Wood.
“This lawsuit represents a historically unprecedented and blatant abuse of the legal process. It is one thing to defend the rights violated as a result of allegedly rigged elections, and it is quite another to mislead the federal court and the American people,” the portal quotes the court’s statement.
Parker ordered the lawyers to pay legal costs and take a course of advanced legal training in the field of ethical standards of claims.
