OnePlus developers have rolled out a new test build of OxygenOS 11 for last year’s flagship smartphones.
The firmware came out with build number OxygenOS Open Beta 12 for OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OxygenOS Open Beta 7 for OnePlus 8T. The new version has improved the stability of the system, added the July security patch, which closes some system vulnerabilities, and also fixed minor bugs. In addition, OnePlus Store has appeared in the firmware, through which you can manage your OnePlus account. The application is uninstalled if necessary.
Participants of the OxygenOS beta testing program have already begun to receive the new version of the system by air. If you don’t have OTA yet, you can download the firmware via the Oxygen Updater app and install it manually.
By the way, according to OnePlus, this is the latest test build of OxygenOS 11 for OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T. Now the devices will receive only the stable version of the system. How to switch to a stable firmware branch can be found here.
