Immediately after the presentation of the new generation of MacBook Pro, Apple provided the developers with a version of the release candidate macOS Monterey, and in most cases it is RC that is the final version, which, as you know, will be released on Monday.
In the update, Apple introduced a new “Monterey” screensaver to complement the “Monterey” system wallpapers long available in previous beta versions of the operating system.
The Monterey screensaver offers a slow transition through hills and valleys in various shades of pink, purple and blue, as shown in the video below.
MacOS Monterey RC features a new screensaver of the same name. I would set this as my desktop background if Apple made that easy to do out of the box. pic.twitter.com/AUnvDz2qL4

In the near-final build of macOS Monterey, Apple made a number of major changes, undoing nearly all of the Safari design changes that were introduced in June. Safari looks the same as in macOS Big Sur, but for those who prefer Monterey’s new “compact” design, there is still a choice.
