British heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury successfully defended his WBC and The Ringworld boxing title in a fight with American Deontay Wilder. The Briton knocked out his opponent in the 11th round.
Fury survived two knockdowns and knocked out Wilder, defending the WBC and The Ring titles.
Thus, Fury secured the opportunity to take part in the fight for the status of the absolute world boxing champion. His opponent will become known after the rematch between Alexander Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
For the 33-year-old Fury, this was the first defense of the WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles.
Fury scored 31 wins with one loss and one draw. Wilder lost the second fight out of 44.
